push button detect on 7 segment display with 89c51 and Proteus simulation
Today we will see the circuit construction on Proteus simulation software where we will see the push button detect on 7 segment display. this circuit and code you can use as your mini project of diploma or degree college.
Detecting switches on 7 segment display with Proteus is not such a difficult task.but sometimes the learning students want to experiment before they make the actual circuit with components.
In this scenario Proteus is the best tool.
What is Proteus
Proteus is a complete development platform from product concept to design completion. Its advantages are intelligent principle layout, hybrid circuit simulation and accurate analysis, single-chip software debugging, single-chip and peripheral circuit co-simulation, PCB automatic layout and wiring.
circuit description.
In this circuit we have taken 8 simple push button switches those are PCB mounted those you can find in any electronic components shop.
Port pins P1.0 to P1.7 are used for that.
Each pin of the port used by the push button switches are pulled up ( given 5v ) by using 10k resistors.
so that push button switches can function well with the micro controller 89c51.
The 7 segment used is common cathode display. (LT 542)
ic 74LS164 is used to drive the 7 segment display.
Pins 18 and 19 are the pins where the crystal and capacitor network is connected. that is used to provide the basic clock to the controller 89c51.
make the connections as shown, in the Proteus, or you can get the ready made .hex file and Proteus simulation file along with keil ( Uvision 3 files) project files ( .ASM Program file and more)
with just Rs. 450 ! ( or USD 9.00)
